STEP 02

Make the vehicle session-ready

Tuning cannot correct a mechanical problem. Tell us about anything unusual before a read, write, or road log.

Correct fuel is in the tankUse the fuel and octane agreed on with UA; have enough for the session. No unresolved mechanical concernsNo overheating, fluid leaks, misfires, unusual noises, or known sensor faults. Safe for any requested road logTires, brakes, lights, fluids, and registration are in roadworthy condition. Accessories should stay offLights, climate control, audio, and other loads off during flashing unless directed. Battery condition is known-goodLow voltage can interrupt a read or write.

Gather the facts your tuner needs

Download and complete the full modification list, then email it back to Underground Autosports.

Customer + vehicle details are completeName, order/invoice number, year, make, model, engine, transmission, fuel, and RTD ID. Mods, goals, and current concerns are includedNever omit a warning light, unusual symptom, or recent repair.

STEP 05

Send the right package

Use the file-transfer and communication process Underground Autosports gave you.

FLASHING RULEOnce a read or write begins, do not unplug the RTD, close the TDN app, disconnect power, or change the key position unless we tell you to.Once a read or write begins, do not unplug the MPVI4, close VCM Suite, disconnect power, or change the key position unless we tell you to.

Signal is downloaded, installed, and set upUse Signal for real-time text messages and calls directly with your tuner during the session. Current DTCs are recordedSave or screenshot the codes; do not clear them unless UA asks. Requested stock/current read is savedComplete this only with the exact Underground Autosports instructions for your device and vehicle. Requested read/log files are includedAttach or sync only the specific files UA requested. A safe session location is plannedLegal, low-traffic route or approved stationary location, as instructed. Enough uninterrupted time is reservedRequired devices are charged, chargers are available, and there is no need to rush the process.
